Israel McCorkle is an American fashion designer, actor, and entrepreneur. He is the founder and first creative director of the fashion House McCorklen, launched in 2024. McCorkle is also a self-published author. His work is within fashion, literature, film, and media, with a focus on legacy, storytelling, and cultural identity. Alongside of him writing books, he also does Poetry and is an Artist that draws, paints, and constructs all different types of art.
Early Life and Education
Israel McCorkle was born in Atlanta, Georgia. During his childhood, he lived in four different U.S. states, experiences that would later influence his creative vision. He attended Pebblebrook High School, where he began writing and exploring his interest in storytelling. He later graduated from Lithia Springs High School a few years after he transferred.
At a young age, McCorkle aspired to become an Olympic sprinter. However, by age 14, he began developing a strong interest in fashion, inspired in part by his growing online presence. He was particularly influenced by designers such as Virgil Abloh, Telfar Clemens, and Kanye West, as well as the branding and cultural impact of the Kardashian family. By the age of sixteen, he self-published his first book, having spent much of his high school years working on goals and his future.
Writing and Film
In addition to his work in fashion, McCorkle is the author of several self-published works. He began writing in high school and released his first book at sixteen. He continues to pursue in literature, with aspirations to produce and direct award-winning films based on his written works. His broader creative goals include working in television, commercials, and feature filmmaking. He is also an outstanding at writing poetry.
